When you submit your rental application, it will be initially screened for the following qualifiers:
- Your monthly income is 3 times the rent or higher. For example, if the rent is $900/month, your income must be $2,700/month ($900 x 3) or higher
- Your landlords provide good references (pay on time, property has/had no damages and left clean, etc)
Next, your credit and background reports will be pulled and checked for any major red flags such as bill paying history, rental history, criminal history, etc. Major qualifiers would be:
- No evictions in the last 10 years
- No outstanding debt to past landlords in the last 10 years
- No violent or felony crimes
